In 1976 Lawrence G. White started White Construction Company. His objective was to provide quality masonry and carpentry construction services to residential and commercial customers. Mr. White’s primary focus was high quality construction services with a strong commitment to the company’s clients. Over the coming years he developed and expanded his construction company with integrity and exceptional problem solving abilities.
In 1993, to answer the steady growth of the company, Lawrence G. White established L.G. White and Sons, Inc. After incorporation, Lawrence utilized his hands-on approach and extensive knowledge of the commercial construction field to point the company in the direction of Government, Municipal, and Industrial work.
Mr. White has always made running his business in an ethical and honest manner part of his business plan and philosophy. While becoming a leading Commercial General Contractor, Mr. White continued to build his reputation with owners as being straightforward, insightful, honest, and highly capable of managing and developing large-scale construction projects.
From its modest beginnings, L.G. White and Sons, Inc. has grown into a multi-million dollar a year contractor, with projects throughout New York State. Its reputation for exceptional quality and integrity has never been compromised, and continues to be the backbone of the company.

One example of Mr. White’s problem solving skills took place 1996 when Mr. White was asked to help solve an aircraft maintenance fall safety dilemma at the 109th Air National Guard in Scotia, N.Y. He was successful in designing a patented (Patent #5,653,308) fall safety system that was not only a successful fall safety system for the 109th ANG, but now is being utilized at air force bases and maintenance facilities throughout the country. Mr. White is currently working with the Air Force in designing other safety products for the aircraft industry. Due to the growth of L.G.
